Europe's Launch Bottleneck

Satellite and micro-launch demand is booming, but onshore sites are overbooked and politically constrained. Europe lacks flexible launch options.

Limited Launch Sites

Most European launches depend on the Guiana Space Centre — optimized for large rockets, not the growing small launch market.

Long Launch Queues

Small satellite operators often wait 12–24 months for launch access. Demand far outstrips available infrastructure.

Strategic Dependence

Europe remains partially dependent on foreign launch infrastructure — creating security risks for defence and strategic missions.

About EuroSpaceport

Infrastructure of the Future

EuroSpaceport develops commercial spaceports and launch services. The services are sustainable, flexible, safe and customer focused.

First Launch from Denmark

We are currently preparing the first demonstration launches planned for August 2026. The launches will take place from a mobile platform in the North Sea west of Esbjerg.

Demands for Rocket Test Ranges

Across Europe multiple companies are developing rockets for satellite launches. Those rockets need testing within the next 1-3 years. After two demonstration launches, EuroSpaceport will be able to offer those companies a test range superior to others in Europe as the only offshore platform.

Sustainability at the Core

We will be working with power-to-x companies on transforming green energy from wind and solar into rocket fuels. Our objective is to launch the first CO2 neutral satellite and inspire the rapidly growing space industry to use green fuels.

About the Company

Established 2020 by experienced technology entrepreneur. Co-founded 2021 and 2022 by a space rocket launch operations engineer, a space law specialist, an electrical engineer with ESA experience, a communication and strategy expert, an IT security expert, and an award-winning physics teacher. The team is diverse across gender, nationality, age, and languages.
